These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions apply to anyone participating in the JoyJems affiliate program. In these terms, “JoyJems,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to JoyJems / Project Joy Studio. “Affiliate,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person or organization participating in the program.
By joining or participating in the JoyJems Affiliate Program, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not participate in the program.
1. Approval of Affiliates
We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion.
We may also remove an affiliate from the program at any time if we believe the affiliate is violating these terms, misrepresenting JoyJems, using misleading promotional methods, abusing the program, or acting in a way that may harm the JoyJems brand.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupon Codes
Affiliate links are generated through the affiliate dashboard. In some cases, affiliates may also be able to create links to specific JoyJems products or collections.
Affiliates may also be assigned a coupon code. You may only promote coupon codes that JoyJems has specifically assigned or approved for you. You may not promote, publish, or distribute unapproved JoyJems coupon codes.
If a customer clicks on multiple affiliate links, the commission will be assigned according to the tracking rules used by our affiliate platform. If a customer both clicks an affiliate link and uses a coupon code, the affiliate will not receive a double commission.
Affiliates are welcome to share JoyJems with their real audience, community, friends, and family. However, the affiliate program is intended for genuine referrals, not for creating a personal discount. JoyJems reserves the right to void commissions in clear cases of self-referral, fake referrals, abuse, fraud, or purchases that appear to be made primarily to generate a commission rather than to refer a genuine customer.
3. No Paid Advertising
JoyJems affiliates may not run paid advertising for JoyJems without written permission from us.
This includes, but is not limited to, paid search ads, Google Ads, shopping ads, paid social ads, boosted posts, display ads, retargeting ads, sponsored listings, or any other paid placement.
The purpose of the affiliate program is for affiliates to share JoyJems through their own platform, audience, relationships, creative work, or community — not by buying ads.
Affiliates may not bid on or advertise using JoyJems, Project Joy Studio, our product names, our brand names, misspellings of our brand names, or any confusingly similar terms.
4. FTC Disclosures and Honest Promotion
Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with JoyJems whenever they promote JoyJems products, affiliate links, or coupon codes.
Disclosures must be easy to see, easy to understand, and placed near the recommendation, link, or coupon code. Examples include:
“I may earn a commission if you buy through my link.”
“Affiliate link.”
“As a JoyJems affiliate, I may earn a commission from purchases.”
Affiliates are responsible for following all applicable laws, advertising rules, endorsement guidelines, platform rules, and disclosure requirements.
Affiliates may not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unsupported claims about JoyJems products. This includes claims about safety, child development, education, therapy, mental health, medical benefits, or guaranteed results.
5. Brand and Content Guidelines
JoyJems is a creative, family-friendly art product. Affiliates may not promote JoyJems in connection with content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, illegal, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate for the brand.
Affiliates may use:
- Photos, videos, and images they personally create of JoyJems products.
- Official images, logos, banners, copy, or marketing materials provided by JoyJems.
Affiliates may not:
- Use random JoyJems photos, product images, or customer images found online unless they have permission.
- Photoshop, AI-generate, AI-edit, or materially alter images of JoyJems products.
- Modify official JoyJems images except to add text overlays, captions, stickers, arrows, or similar promotional text.
- Create images that misrepresent the product, packaging, colors, scale, contents, or finished results.
- Use JoyJems images in a way that makes the promotion look like an official JoyJems account, store, or advertisement when it is not.
JoyJems may ask an affiliate to remove or revise content that we believe misrepresents the product, violates these terms, or does not fit the brand.
6. Commissions
Affiliates earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through their affiliate link or approved coupon code, according to the commission structure shown in the affiliate dashboard or affiliate guide.
Commission is calculated based on the order value, excluding taxes, shipping, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, and other fees unless otherwise stated.
Commissions are only earned on successfully completed transactions. JoyJems reserves the right to review referral orders before approving commission.
Commissions may be reversed, voided, or withheld for refunded orders, canceled orders, chargebacks, fraudulent transactions, self-referrals, duplicate tracking, program abuse, violation of these terms, or other activity that JoyJems determines is not a valid referral.
7. Payment
Affiliate payments are made through PayPal.
To receive payment, affiliates must provide accurate PayPal payment details in the affiliate dashboard or as otherwise requested by JoyJems.
Payments will be made according to the payment schedule shown in the affiliate dashboard or affiliate guide. Commissions may be subject to a review period before becoming eligible for payment.
Affiliates are responsible for any taxes, fees, reporting obligations, or other requirements related to their affiliate income.
8. Tracking and Cookies
JoyJems uses affiliate tracking links, coupon codes, and cookies to track referrals.
If a customer blocks cookies, clears cookies, uses a different device, uses a different browser, or otherwise prevents tracking, we may not be able to attribute the sale to the affiliate.
The cookie length is shown on the affiliate registration form or affiliate dashboard. The tracking period begins when a customer clicks an affiliate link or uses an approved affiliate coupon code.
Within the cookie period, qualifying purchases by that customer may be attributed to the affiliate according to the tracking settings of our affiliate platform.
9. No Network or Downline Commissions
JoyJems does not currently offer network, downline, multi-level, or sub-affiliate commissions.
Affiliates may invite others to apply for the JoyJems Affiliate Program, but affiliates will not receive commissions from other affiliates’ sales unless JoyJems separately agrees to this in writing.
10. Removal from the Program
Affiliates may leave the JoyJems Affiliate Program at any time by contacting us at affiliates@joyjems.shop.
JoyJems may suspend or remove an affiliate from the program at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these terms, misleading promotion, brand misuse, suspected fraud, self-referrals, unauthorized advertising, coupon abuse, or conduct that JoyJems believes may harm the brand.
If an affiliate is removed from the program, JoyJems may withhold or reverse unpaid commissions connected to violations of these terms, fraud, refunds, chargebacks, self-referrals, or other invalid referral activity.
11. Changes to the Program
JoyJems may update these terms, commission rates, cookie windows, payment schedules, approved marketing materials, or program rules at any time.
Continued participation in the affiliate program after changes are posted or shared means you accept the updated terms.
