About JoyJems

Creativity for everyone. Joy in every window.

JoyJems are designed to walk you to a place of creative confidence from Project Joy Studio — born from a belief that creativity isn't a talent you're born with. It's a practice anyone can start today.

Meet Jessica Joy London

Joy has been asking people one question since age five: "What do you make?" Creating became her greatest source of strength during a childhood that felt limiting. It became a way to see possibilities when life seemed small.

As a fine artist, her work has been collected and exhibited internationally. But what stayed with her wasn't the gallery recognition but the transformative experience of making itself: the sense of possibility.

In 2011, Jessica developed new art-making processes so effective that her own output jumped from four paintings a year to 300 in nine months. She knew immediately that she had to share them. Project Joy Studio was born.

From 200-foot light installations to kits you can take home

Before JoyJems, Joy built immersive light installations that filled entire rooms — some stretching 200 feet. The work was awe-inspiring, but it was tethered to a gallery or venue. Only a few hundred people could ever see any one piece.

JoyJems started with a simple question: what if you could take that feeling of light-through-colour home with you? What if the kit itself was the installation?

The result is a craft experience that needs no skill, no mess, and no previous creative confidence. Just peel, stick, and let the light do the rest.

The Project Joy Studio mission

You were never uncreative — you were just never encouraged to believe your creativity mattered.

— Jessica Joy London

Project Joy Studio exists to close the gap between people and creativity — particularly for those who believe they have none. JoyJems is one expression of that mission: a product that removes every barrier and replaces it with light.

The studio is building a movement toward creative confidence, one peel-and-stick window at a time.
